Description: Don Milani - The prior of Barbiana is a television miniseries produced by Rai Cinema and Rai Fiction (then merged into Rai Cinemafiction) consists of two episodes broadcast on RAI 1 in 1997 and directed by Andrea and Antonio Frazzi Frazzi.

In the two episodes of the fiction traces of Don Lorenzo Milani life that December 6, 1954 he arrived in Barbiana, a small village lost on Mount Giovi that he will establish "a church surrounded by a few houses scattered here and there." Here the misery and loneliness generate madness among the inhabitants, so Don Lorenzo will try to help the poor, including the building of a school for young people so that one day they could financially help parents not working the land. Don Milani, has long suffered from a very serious illness, died in Florence in his parents' house on the morning of June 26, 1967.

Don Milani - Il priore di Barbiana è una miniserie televisiva prodotta da Rai Cinema e Rai Fiction (allora unite in Rai Cinemafiction) composta da due puntate trasmesse su Rai 1 nel 1997 e diretta da Andrea Frazzi e Antonio Frazzi.

Nelle due puntate della fiction si ripercorre la vita di Don Lorenzo Milani che il 6 dicembre 1954 arrivò a Barbiana, un piccolo paesello sperduto sul monte Giovi che lui stesso definirà "una chiesa circondata da qualche casa sparsa qua e là". Qui la miseria e la solitudine generano pazzia tra gli abitanti, per cui Don Lorenzo cercherà di aiutare i poveri, anche creando una scuola per i più giovani affinché un giorno potessero aiutare economicamente i genitori non lavorando la terra. Don Milani, affetto da tempo da una gravissima malattia, morirà a Firenze nella casa dei suoi genitori, la mattina del 26 giugno del 1967.
